TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Arrive at Arusha Airport and head to Tarangire National Park. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. The park has a variety of animal life including lion, leopard, elephant and cheetah. Have a half day game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge/ Oliver's Camp

Day 2: Game drives in the Park
After breakfast, have a full day game viewing in the Park. You will have a chance to view tree climbing pythons, lions, elephants, lesser kudu, eland, and gerenuk. Baobab trees are scattered everywhere in the park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge/ Oliver's Camp

Day 3: En-route to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You will view Lake Manyara's game like good numbers of elephant, buffalo and wildebeest along with plenty of giraffe. Look more carefully for zebra, warthog, impala, Kirk's dik-dik, waterbuck in marshy areas near some of the springs, and klipspringer on the slopes of the escarpment. Dinner and overnight at E Unoto Retreat/ Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

Day 4: From Lake Manyara to Serengeti
Have breakfast, take a final game drive in the park and at mid day, you will leave the park heading to Serengeti National Park, a home to a wonderful array of flora and fauna from large prides of lion, leopard and cheetah, to herds of elephant, giraffe and a whole world of grazing animals. Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp.

Day 5 & 6: Game Drives in the Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti National Park. Look out for lions, cheetahs, leopard, elephants, herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and many other animals. Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro
Depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge after an early breakfast. Olduvai Gorge is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis (”Handy man”) regarded as mankind’s first step on the path of human evolution. Arrive at the park in time for lunch and after lunch, have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge /Bilila Lodge

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After an early breakfast, descend 2000 feet (0ver 600 meters) into the crater floor for game drives. Lunch is a picnic in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact calderas in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. Have a game view of lions, leopard, rhinos, buffalo and elephants which live in this wonderful caldera. Other inhabitants include zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas and native birds. Flamingos dwell on the soda lake and you may see geese, storks and vultures. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge /Bilila Lodge

Day 9: Reserved for Departure
Drive back to Arusha to find your departure flight back home
