This is a 10 days Botswana Wild Safari adventure. This safari starts in Zambia and ends in Botswana. On this safari, you will discover Victoria Falls, "The Smoke That Thunders", one of the seven natural wonders of the world, have the chance to search for game in Chobe National Park and along the Savuti Channel, where large prides of lions and other predators can be found. The final part of this safari takes you to the wild beauty of the Okavango Delta, the vast system of interlocking water and reed-filled channels that drain into the Kalahari Desert. The unique landscape of the Delta harbors an abundance of wildlife.  This adventure camping expedition allows you to experience Botswana in a small group setting of eight people or less.


Day 1:  Arrive at Livingstone Airport, Zambia
Arrive at Livingstone Airport, where you will be met by our safari representatives. You will be transferred to Victoria Falls to enjoy a guided tour. Have an overnight at Chundukwa Tree Lodge/ Zambezi Sun Hotel/Royal Livingstone Hotel
, situated on the grassy banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from the mighty Victoria Falls; the elevated open-fronted chalets boast stunning views of the Zambezi River, Chundu Island opposite and the Zambezi National park across the River.  You may also have optional excursions such as: helicopter ride over the Falls, jet boats / white water rafting, boat safaris and, cultural visit to Chief Mukuni’s Village or the Maramba market. You can even cross the bridge to visit Victoria Falls town and view the falls from the Zimbabwe side of the river. Day 2: Head to Chobe National Park
After breakfast, cross Zambia to Botswana using the Kazangula border, where the four countries of Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe meet.  Transfer to the northern region of Chobe National Park. This area is famous for vast herds of elephant and unique antelope species such as puku or Chobe bushbuck.  A cruise along the Chobe River in a catamaran-style shaded boat fills the afternoon and camp overnight at Chobe Chilwero/ Chobe Game Lodge.

Days 3 & 4:  Game drives in Linyanti Area
The next two days will be spent enjoying the wide range of game viewing activities the Linyanti area has to offer. Game drives in the Linyanti private concession offer fantastic opportunities to see a wide variety of animals but especially elephants. Time is flexible so that we can follow the movement of the game. One full day, you will depart camp for an early morning activity, followed by lunch at scenic spot and a hammock siesta. Before heading back to camp, you may go canoeing, dependant on the activities of the local hippos. Dinner and overnight at Kings Pool Camp/ Duma Tau Camp

Day 5:  En-route to Savuti Area and Lechwe Island
Today, set off on a game drive along the Savuti Channel, stopping en route at a private game-viewing hide for lunch. This is a long but interesting drive giving the perfect introduction to the varying habitats of Northern Botswana, from the open savannah of the Savuti Channel to lagoons in the Selinda Spillway. You arrive at the Adventurer campsite on Lechwe Island mid-afternoon, in time for a short sunset game drive. Here, the camp is usually set up on the wooded island overlooking a floodplain, which is alternately flooded or dry, depending on the season. Dinner and overnight at Lechwe Island camp

Days 6 & 7: Lechwe Island exploration
Spend the next two days exploring the areas around Lechwe Island in the northeastern corner of the Okavango Delta. This area has large numbers of bull elephants as well as lion prides and resident clans of spotted hyenas that are frequently seen. Enjoy game drives by day and night as well as bush walks where your guide delves into interesting topics such as tracking, medicinal and traditional uses of plants, and a variety small invertebrates. Days 8 & 9: Fly to the Okavango Delta
This morning after breakfast, fly into the heart of the Okavango Delta to Xigera Mokoro Trails Camp where you will spend the next two nights. You will carry out the following activities on your arrival, including mokoro and walking safaris on inner remote islands, which enable up-close encounters with an excellent diversity of birdlife, frogs and a myriad of game species, some specially adapted to water, such as the rare sitatunga and the familiar red lechwe. The Okavango is the largest inland Delta in the world and contains a remarkable amount of wildlife hidden in the tall reeds, palm tree islands and along meandering waterways. Day 10: Reserved for departure
After a morning breakfast, fly direct to Maun Airport to connect with your international flights
