This is 8 days Botswana Elephant walking safari. This safari starts in Zambia and ends in Botswana. Begin your African experience at the thundering Victoria Falls, where the scenery is matched by the variety of activities. Then continue into Botswana to meet elephants in their natural habitat. Walking with elephants will leave you in awe of these intelligent giants. Discover their world as you join them on a morning stroll and learn about these majestic creatures, from the coarse hair of their tails to their curious trunk. 


Days 1 & 2:  Arrive in Zambia
Arrive at Livingstone Airport, where you will be met by our safari representatives. You will be transferred to Victoria Falls to enjoy a guided tour. Have two overnights at Chundukwa Tree Lodge /Zambezi Sun Hotel/Royal Livingstone Hotel
, situated on the grassy banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from the mighty Victoria Falls; the elevated open-fronted chalets boast stunning views of the Zambezi River, Chundu Island opposite and the Zambezi National park across the River.  You may also have optional excursions such as: helicopter ride over the Falls, jet boats / white water rafting, boat safaris and, cultural visit to Chief Mukuni’s Village or the Maramba market. You can even cross the bridge to visit Victoria Falls town and view the falls from the Zimbabwe side of the river. Dinner and overnight at Chundukwa Tree Lodge/Zambezi Sun Hotel/Royal Livingstone Hotel

Day 3 & 4:  Transfer to Okavango Delta
Depart Victoria Falls by road and cross the border to Botswana. You will take a flight from Kasane Airport into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Be transferred to Stanley’s camp for a 2 nights stay.  On your arrival, you will be welcomed by a traditional African song and dance before taking you to the camp, set in an amphitheater of ebony and sausage trees in 260,000 acres of untamed African bush. You can carry out a canoe ride while looking for large and small animals while enjoying the variety of bird life. Have game drive and guided walks while being joined by 3 rescued elephants; Morula, Thembi and Jabu. Follow these elephants as they carry out their usual routine such as; bathing, eating, and a refreshing mud bath. Feel the soles of their feet, the roughness of their skin, and watch the muscles in their trunks as they trumpet. Learn about elephants’ teeth, what they eat, and the challenges faced by Botswana's growing elephant herds. You will be surprised at the individuality of each elephant as you get to know them better. After the walk, enjoy a bush breakfast and then return to camp for an afternoon activity. Dinner and overnight at Stanley's Camp

Days 5 & 7: Fly to Moremi Game Reserve
After breakfast at Stanley’s Camp, you will be flown to Chief's Island or Mombo Island and transferred to the camp. The subsequent two days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. You will have game drives in the early morning and in the late afternoon. You will also explore different areas of this diverse park. Have excellent opportunities to see predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah, as well as plains game and even rhino. Dinner and overnight at Chief's Camp

Day 8: Reserved for departure
After breakfast, transfer by light aircraft to Maun to find your departure flight.
